Family Coaches Program
One of the most rewarding things we can do is to invest in the life of someone else.† Believe it or not ñ in the time it takes to watch a movie, you can be a positive influence in someoneís life by teaching that person how to set a budget, how to interview, how to dress appropriately for work, how to manage time, or how to network to find community and business resources.† Itís neighbor helping neighbor, right in your own community.
Family Coaches are regular people: Family Coaches are just like you.† They have some knowledge about how the world works, are good role models, and can give encouragement when someone needs it.† Family Coaches donít have to perfect; they just have to share a few hours of their time each month with a family that is reaching for important goals.
Make a difference.† Be a Family Coach.† Call 205.945.6000 or 800.499.6597 for more information or click below to email:

Big Brothers Big Sisters Program
Young people need positive adult role models in their lives. Most of us can remember the important influence one or more people had on us when we were young. Many children in the River Region and Pike county areas
are growing up with limited encouragement, guidance, and support from adults.
Just a couple of hours of your time each month, spent in activities that are fun for you and the Little Brother or Sister, can make all the difference in the world to that child. Do you have thoughts of going to a newly released movie, playing ball, window shopping, flying kites, baking cookies, visiting historic sites? There's a Little Brother or Little Sister who would love to join you...call today and ask for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. It will change your life, too!

Parkview Adult Day Health Services
Do you have a special place in your heart for elderly or vulnerable adults? We have a special group of adult day care clients at Parkview who would love to have you visit with them.
Parkview is looking for adults to assist in many different ways such as visiting directly with clients and playing games, reading, or assisting at lunchtime. Some volunteers help drive the small Goshen van-bus, while others help in clerical tasks. Volunteers can bring their special talents to Parkview, like singing or instrumental music, maybe arts and craft projects, or specialized activities to help the clients who are challenged with dementia or physical limitations.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to provide a few hours of service each month, call Parkview and find out more about the many ways volunteers bring smiles into the lives of seniors.
