Part-Time Career Readiness Instructor Family Service Center of Lowndes County, Hayneville, AL
The Family Service Center of Lowndes County is seeking a Career Readiness Instructor to teach classes five days a week for 4 hours a day. Classes are currently held from 9 a.m. – 12p.m.
Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in social service or business related field. The position requires demonstrated communication skills, time management and organization abilities, teaching experience, proven technology skills, excellent interpersonal skills, case management experience, ability to handle large caseload, and a desire to work as part of a team. The ability to work with adults and teens with a wide range of employment-related skills and interests is needed.
This position involves case management with families to help strengthen the family and ensure child safety. The focus of case management in this position is assisting families with addressing employment issues, including: technology skill building, job search, job readiness, interviewing and resumes, workplace behavior and dress, and employment advancement and maintenance.
